CHRISTINA SAFFRAN began her professional career at age 9 at the Muny Opera in St. Louis. After graduating early from high school and attending college, she moved to New York and Broadway, where she was the youngest person ever on the line in Michael Bennett’s A CHORUS LINE. She went on to other Broadway shows, playing roles in THE MUSIC MAN, SOPHISTICATED LADIES, SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN, and DROOD, also playing the lead ingénue at Radio City Music Hall for its prestigious reopening. She toured nationally and internationally with various Broadway shows as well as with Herbie Hancock and the Super Sounds and had her own show in Las Vegas. She continues singing with various national symphony orchestras as well as on many movie soundtracks.
CHRISTINA began teaching 20 years ago and brings her wealth of knowledge to her students who are excelling at every level, from the youngest starring in their school musicals, winning vocal awards, to high school age students being accepted to prestigious musical theatre colleges such as The University of Michigan, Syracuse, Elon, Boston Conservatory, University of Oklahoma and others. Her students have made it to Top 10 on NBC’s THE VOICE, and appeared in starring roles on Broadway and national tours, as well as television and major motion pictures.
